The MFMT, MspI fragment-based DNA methylation typing, is a comprehensive DNA methylation analysis that assesses the methylation level of the linker-ligated MspI fragments.
HpaII analyzes a methylation level of the cytosines on the protruding ends, and McrBC assesses that of the cytosines in the inner area of the fragment.
This complementary assay system gives researches more reliable results.
The regular type of the MFMT uses two colors for DNA tiling array..
